I lived in Vegas when I was a teenager and I found lots of things to do. The only things you have to be 21 for generally are being in the gaming areas – slot machines, etc, and can’t drink alcohol. But you can do just about anything else. You’ll see signs posted in any areas where minors wouldn’t be allowed. Each hotel/casino has fun things to do. People do bring their kids. Gotta put ‘em somewhere. At Luxor, they have games and rides. Caesar’s Palace has an omnimax theater. The Venetian has boat rides and jester shows in the main areas. Bally’s has a comedy club. Circus Circus has an amusement park with coasters and they also have circus acts and carnival games. Excalibur has a neat King Arthur’s Tournament act. It’s been a while since I’ve been there, so I’m sure there are lots of things that are there now that I didn’t see before. But EVERY hotel/casino has SOMETHING that you can enjoy, whether it be shows, music, rides, food, etc. I’ve never been to the Tahiti, but the pics sure look nice. I’m envious. If you venture away from the strip, it’s like any other city. malls, movie theaters, etc. Oh, if you go to the Gold Coast casino a block or so west of the strip on Tropicana or Flamingo (can’t remember which street), eat at the Cortez Room. Best prime rib and prices I’ve ever had for high class service. Stratosphere has rides at the top of the tower. Fremont street on the old strip is neat to just go see and shop. The street is covered by a lighted “roof” with moving images, etc. You’ll have plenty to do just walking up and down the strip and going into the hotel/casinos. You can watch Mirage’s volcano blow, the pirate show in front of Treasure Island, etc. I believe there are also 4 or 5 Cirque du Soleil shows playing in Vegas right now. I can’t remember which hotel/casino the white tigers are in if they’re still there…. i could go on and on, can you tell? LOL My boyfriend and I found plenty to do, and i was 19 when I moved away from Vegas. Hope this helps. Just don’t let your boyfriend spend too much time in the 21+ areas, so you can spend more of your time together.
